Dear Friends, It wasn't long ago (7-5-2010)when I wrote to you below wishing I could have one of these beautiful pieces of Art. Well, my dream has come true! I finally sold my last bass and am now in the process of putting together my "build wishlist" and am working with a very kind gentleman whom is a rep for Marleaux in America. His name is Dan Lenard of luthiersaccessgroup.com. He is very open minded and knowledgable as he has been around Marleaux for several years. I have enjoyed several sound bytes from Schmidtmusic as well as many others on youtube.com. This have been very helpful in making my final decision as well as the quality or workmanship and price for such a quality piece of work that Marleaux has to offer. I am looking so forward to playing my bass when the time is right! I've learned from my past not to rush the luthier or make snap decisions. My playing tastes seek a bass with huge low fundamental, punchy mids, and crisp subtle not overwhelmingly clanging highs. I love how the tones of their basses "cut through". Hallo, Ich bin der Neffe von da Mara ihrem Freund ;). Vom Christian. Mara ist echt toll denn sie ist super nett und alles ;). Na dann wollte nur noch sagen unsere Schulband von da Staatlichen Realschule Passau spielt 3 Bässe von ihnen. Die hören sich echt super an!!! Tolle Stücke! MfG

hallo gerald.wie soll ich blos in worten ferfassen wie gut deine instrumente sind??> geht sehr schwer.aber eines kann ich berichten,wie ich dir schon erzaehlt habe habe ich in gr.land bei alles grosse was es so giebt gespielt.tv,cd produktionen,live von 200 bis 10.000 publikum und und und. habe fast alles beste gespielt.aber deine sachen sind einfach der knaller.passen zu jedem styl und jeder richtung.mach weiter so,ich bin jietz mitlerweile schon 12 jiahre in deinen sachen ferknalt!!!!in 3 jahren sind`s 15 jahre und dan giebt`s auch ne griechische jubileumstorte wo draufstehen wierd,marleaux y love you 15.weiter so. einfach geil geil geil.mfg niko

Hallo Gerald, viel hab ich mir von Deinem Consat Custom 5-string fretless erwartet - noch viel mehr ist es geworden. Ursprünglich habe ich geplant, den Bass nur für Balladen mit singendem Fretless einzusetzen. Der Bass ist aber so unglaublich vielseitig - er reagiert auf die leiseste Veränderung des Anschlags und die Klangvielfalt durch die PickUps multipliziert das noch - dass ich fast ausschließlich nur mehr auf diesem Bass spiele. Der Consat ist der beste Bass den ich je in Händen gehabt habe. Vielen Dank und beste Grüße! Georg
